Look, as a storm cloud in the sky, he arises, and his war chariots kick up dust like a whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. We’re done for! It’s over for us!

“People of Jerusalem, cut off your long hair and throw it away, and raise your song of mourning on the hilltops, for Yahweh has rejected and abandoned the generation of his fury.

Then Yahweh said to me: “Even if Moses and Samuel stood before me to intercede for these people, I would not turn my heart back to them. Send them away from me and make them go.

You careless women, it is time to get up and hear my voice. You complacent daughters, pay attention to what I say.
