Yahweh says to you: Be concerned for justice and righteousness. Rescue the one who is robbed from his oppressor. Do not exploit or mistreat the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. Stop the violence and do not shed the blood of the innocent in this place.

Here’s what the God of Israel, Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, says: Change your ways and start living right, and I will let you dwell in this land.

If you have a willing heart to let me help you, and if you will obey me, you will feast on the blessings of an abundant harvest.

But if you stop doing evil, change your ways, and obey the voice of Yahweh your God, then Yahweh will stop the impending disaster and relent of what he has decreed against you.
