The earth itself shivered and shook. It reeled and rocked before him. As the mountains trembled, they melted away, for his anger was kindled on my behalf!

Rolling whirlwinds exploded with sonic booms of thunder, rumbling as the skies shouted out your story with light and sound and wind. Everything on earth shook and trembled as you drew near.

When his lightning strikes, it lights up the world. People are wide-eyed as they tremble and shake.

Therefore, I will make the heavens shudder and the earth shake from its foundation because of the wrath of the Lord, Commander of Angel Armies, in the day of his fierce anger.

The earth staggers like a drunkard, as a hut sways in a storm. Its sin lies heavy upon it; it falls to rise no more.

For this reason Yahweh’s anger burned against his people, and he struck them down with his holy hand! The mountains trembled, and dead bodies were littered like garbage left in the streets. Even with this, his anger has not turned away and still his hand is heavy upon them!

Only Yahweh is the true and living God, the King of all ages! At his fury the earth trembles, and nations crumble before his wrath.

The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan. At the sound of the cries of his stallions, the whole land quakes. They have entered to completely devastate the land, Jerusalem, and its inhabitants.

I will weep and wail for the mountains and sing mournful songs for the pasturelands, for they are burned, with no one passing through. No one hears the lowing of cattle; birds and beasts of the field have fled—they are gone.

The fish in the sea and the birds of heaven, animals large and small, and all people on earth will be terrified and tremble at my presence. Mountains will tumble, cliffs crumble, and all the walls will collapse.

The sky receded with a snap—as a scroll rolls itself up. And every mountain and island was moved from its place.
