O Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, you test the righteous. You probe my deepest thoughts and motives. I have committed my cause to you, so let me watch as you take revenge on my enemies.
Then I prayed, “Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, you always judge fairly, and you test the most secret thoughts and desires of the heart. I have placed my cause before you, so let me live long enough to see you take revenge on them.”
Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence
“I, Yahweh, probe the heart, and I thoroughly test the inner being to give to all people what they deserve according to their ways and based on their deeds.”
God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares.
Once and for all, bring to an end the evil tactics of the wicked! Establish the cause of the righteous, for you are the righteous God, the soul searcher, who tests every heart to examine the thoughts and motives.
Let those who persecute me be ashamed, and don’t let me be disgraced; let them be the ones who are disheartened and not me. Bring on them the day of disaster, and shatter them with double destruction.
When the messengers delivered Sennacherib’s message to Hezekiah, he read it and immediately went into the temple of Yahweh and spread it out before the Lord.

So then, those who suffer for following God’s will should enfold their lives into the Creator, who will never fail them, and continue to always do what is right.
When he was verbally abused, he did not return with an insult; when he suffered, he would not threaten retaliation. Jesus faithfully entrusted himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously.
I could only chirp like a swallow or small bird; I could only moan like a dove. My eyes are weary from looking up into heaven. Yahweh, I am so depressed. Come and be my strength.
