The precious children of Zion, once worth their weight in the finest gold, are now regarded as jars of clay made by a potter’s hands.

It will break into pieces like shattered pottery, smashed so ruthlessly that not even a fragment big enough to pick up a hot coal or to scoop water from a cistern will be found!”

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

Before dawn that morning, all the chief priests and religious leaders resolved to take action against Jesus and decided that he should be executed.

Meanwhile, the prominent priests and religious leaders of the nation were gathered in the palace of Caiaphas the high priest.

“Yahweh, God of Israel, Commander of Angel Armies, says: ‘Take the sealed deed of purchase and its open copy and secure them in a clay pot so that they may be preserved for a long time.’

And some of the elders of the nation then stood to address the crowd:

As a prophetic gesture, he took Paul’s belt and tied his own hands and feet with it as he prophesied, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘The one who owns this belt will be tied up in this same way by the Jews and they will hand him over to those who are not Jews.’ ”

Yahweh said, “Son of man, take a clay tile and lay it in front of you. Sketch the city of Jerusalem on the tile.

Here is the command Yahweh spoke to me: “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, but don’t wash it.”

Yahweh said, “Son of man, take a sharp sword; use it like a barber’s razor and shave your head and beard. Then take scales and divide the hair into three piles.
