Jeremiah 18:8The Passion Translationand that nation turns back from its wicked ways, then I will turn back from the disaster that I planned against it. See the chapter |
“Did King Hezekiah and the people of Judah sentence Micah to death for prophesying this? Did not the king rather fear Yahweh, humble himself, and plead earnestly with him so that he relented of the disaster that he had decreed against them? “Son of man, say to your people, ‘All the good things a good person has done will not be any help if that one decides to turn to sin. And all the sins of an evil person will not destroy him if the evildoer decides to repent and turn from sin. If the righteous turns to sin, the righteous person will not be able to live because of past righteous deeds.’
