Then, after a long time, Yahweh spoke to me again, saying, “Go at once to Perath and dig up the loincloth that I commanded you to bury there.”
So, I obeyed Yahweh and went and buried it at Perath.
So I went to Perath and dug up the loincloth from where I had buried it, and I found it ruined. It was worthless.
Then I saw a vision. On top of the dome over the heads of the cherubim, I saw something that looked like a sapphire throne.
Though they endured the fierce heat, yet the people continued to blaspheme God. They cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues, and refused to repent and give him glory.
