The true net worth of the wise is the wealth that wisdom imparts. But the way of life for the fool is his foolishness.

Confidence and strength flood the hearts of the lovers of God who live in awe of him, and their devotion provides their children with a place of shelter and security.

To worship God in wonder and awe opens a fountain of life within you, empowering you to escape death’s domain.

It’s much better to live simply, surrounded in holy awe and worship of God, than to have great wealth with a home full of trouble.

When you live a life of abandoned love, surrendered before the awe of God, here’s what you’ll experience: Abundant life. Continual protection. And complete satisfaction!

A rebellious nation is thrown into chaos, but leaders anointed with wisdom will restore law and order.

A godly leader who values justice is a great strength and example to the people. But the one who sells his influence for money tears down what is right.

On all my holy mountain of Zion, nothing evil or harmful will be found. For the earth will be filled with the intimate knowledge of the Lord Yahweh just as water swells the sea!

A day is coming when this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “The city is a stronghold for us! The Lord’s salvation, like inner and outer walls, makes it secure.

The work of righteousness is peace, and the result of righteousness is quietness and confidence forever.

My people will live free from worry in secure homes and quiet resting places.

Set your gaze on Zion, the city where we gather for Yahweh’s feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem as a quiet, pleasant place. It is a secure dwelling, permanent and unmovable, not like a tabernacle that must be taken down, its pegs pulled up, and transported.

But Yahweh saves Israel with everlasting salvation! You will not be put to shame nor disgraced for all eternity!

Those who are suffering will soon be released. They will not die in their dark dungeon, nor will they go hungry.

Lift up your eyes to the heavenly realm and look at the earth far below. Though the heavens disappear like smoke, though the earth wears out like a garment, and though all the people die like gnats, my salvation will endure forever and my righteousness will never end!

None of them will have to teach their friends or family, saying, ‘Come and know Yahweh intimately!’ No, from the least to the greatest, they will all know me intimately,” Yahweh declares, “for I will remove their guilt and wipe their sin from my memory.”

“So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

We may suffer, yet in every season we are always found rejoicing. We may be poor, yet we bestow great riches on many. We seem to have nothing, yet in reality we possess all things.

For athletic training only benefits you for a short season, but righteousness brings lasting benefit in everything; for righteousness contains the promise of life, for time and eternity.

We have a “profit” that is greater than theirs—our holy awe of God! To have merely our necessities is to have enough.
