For this is what the Lord said to me: “Go post a sentry and have him report what he sees.

Then I encountered the overseers as they encircled the city. So I asked them, “Have you found him— my heart’s true love?”

Jerusalem, I have stationed intercessors on your walls who will never be silent, day or night. You “reminders” of Yahweh, take no rest,

“Son of man, I am appointing you as a watchman for the people of Israel. When you hear me speak to you, give them my warning.
