The Passion Translation

In the last days, the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be raised up as the head of the mountains, towering over all the hills. A sparkling stream of every nation will flow into it.

Jacob called all his sons together and gathered them around his bedside. He said to them, “Let me prophesy to you about your future destinies:

But God has brought me to my knees, shortening my life.

Ask me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy. Your domain will stretch to the ends of the earth.

From the four corners of the earth, the peoples of the world will remember and return to Yahweh. Every nation will come and worship him.

For Yahweh is King of all, who takes charge of all the nations.

Zion-City is his home; he lives on his holy mountain— high and glorious, joy-filled and favored. Zion-Mountain looms in the farthest reaches of the north, the city of our incomparable King!

Look! The mighty chariots of God! Ten thousands upon ten thousands, more than anyone could ever number. God is at the front, leading them all from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary with the radiance of holiness upon him.

May he subdue and take dominion from sea to sea; may he rule from the river to the rim.

Lord Almighty, you are the one who created all the nations. Look at them—they’re all on their way! Yes, the day will come when they all will worship you and put your glory on display.

High upon his hills of holiness stands God’s city.

How God loves the gates of Zion, his favorite place on earth.

On that day, the root of Jesse will be lifted up as a miracle-sign to rally the people. Gentiles will diligently seek him, and his resting place will be glorious!

The Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, will host a rich feast on this mountain for all peoples— a feast with plenty of meat and well-aged wine, with an abundance of food and the finest of wine.

When that day comes, a great trumpet will sound, and those lost in the land of Assyria and Egypt—all the exiles—will come and bow down before the Lord Yahweh in Jerusalem and worship him on the holy mountain!

But you will have a joyous song throughout the night, as one celebrating a holy, consecrated feast. You will have gladness of heart, as one celebrating to the sound of a flute and dancing up the mountain of Yahweh, the Rock who shelters Israel!

who says: “Is it too small a thing for you, my servant, to restore greatness to Jacob’s tribes and the survivors of Israel? I will make you to be a light to the nations and to bring the light of my salvation to the ends of the earth!”

‘I will bestow upon them within my household both an honored place and an honored name, even better than the honor that comes from having children. I bestow upon them my everlasting favor; you will never be forgotten.’

‘I will welcome you into my holy mountain and make you joyful in my house of prayer. I will accept every sacrifice and offering that you place on my altar, for my house of worship will be known as a house of prayer for all people.’ ”

Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.

“But you who forsake Yahweh and ignore my holy mountain, who celebrate a feast for the goddess called Lady Luck and fill cups of wine to toast the god Destiny, know this: your luck has run out.

And they will bring back from the nations your own people as an offering to me,” says Yahweh. “They will come on horseback, in chariots, in wagons, on mules and camels to my holy mountain, Jerusalem,” says Yahweh. “In the same way my people bring a grain offering in a sacred vessel to the temple, they will be brought as grain offerings to my holy mountain, Jerusalem, as a holy offering to me.

From one Sabbath to the next, one month to the next, one year to the next, all humanity will come to worship me!

Yahweh, you are my strength and my stronghold, my sanctuary in a time of trouble. Nations will stream toward you from the ends of the earth and say: “The gods of our ancestors are nothing but frauds, worthless idols that could do nothing for them.

Yahweh’s anger will not relent until he has perfectly carried out what he has in mind. In the latter days, you will clearly understand this.”

“In the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, the prophet Micah of Moresheth prophesied to all the people of Judah, ‘Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, declares: “ ‘Zion will be plowed under like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, and the Temple Mount will be covered with overgrowth.’

When that day comes, they will call Jerusalem the throne of Yahweh. All nations will be drawn there to be in the presence of Yahweh. They will no longer stubbornly follow their own evil hearts.

Yahweh’s anger will not relent until he has perfectly carried out what he has in mind. In the latter days, you will clearly understand this.

They will come, singing for joy on the heights of Zion, and the goodness of Yahweh will make them radiant. Yahweh will bless them with grain, new wine, olive oil, flocks, and herds. They will be prosperous and grow like a well-watered garden, with no reason to be discouraged.

Yet in the days to come, I will bring Moab’s captives home,” declares Yahweh. This ends Jeremiah’s prophecy concerning Moab.

Then later on, I will bring your captives back,” says Yahweh.

I will punish Bel, the god of Babylon, and make him give back what he has stolen. The people will no longer stream to him to bring him their offering. The walls of Babylon have fallen.”

You will invade Israel, my people, like a cloud covering the countryside. In the latter days, I will bring you against my land so that the nations will know who I am when, through you, Gog, I display my holiness to them.’ ”

In an ecstatic vision from God, he carried me away to the land of Israel and put me down on a very high mountain. As I looked toward the south, there was a group of buildings that seemed to be a city.

Now I have come to help you comprehend what will happen to your people in the final days, for the vision pertains to a time still to come.”

but there is an all-knowing God in heaven who reveals the deepest mysteries. Your Majesty, he is the one who has revealed to you what is to take place in the last days. Here is your dream, the vision that filled your mind as you lay in your bed:

Then, all at once, the entire statue collapsed into a heap of rubble. The iron and clay, bronze, silver, and gold were all pulverized as fine as chaff on the summer threshing-floor. The wind blew the shattered pieces away, leaving not a trace behind. But the boulder that hit the statue grew into a massive mountain that covered the whole earth.

This is the meaning of what you saw in your vision: a rock cut out of a mountain—but not by human hands—a rock that shattered the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold to pieces is his eternal kingdom. The Great God has revealed to you, the king, what will take place after this. The dream is true, and its interpretation trustworthy.”

‘This is what I will do in the last days —I will pour out my Spirit on everybody and cause your sons and daughters to prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will experience dreams from God.

But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce.

But to us living in these last days, God now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through him God created the panorama of all things and all time.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days mockers will multiply, chasing after their evil desires.

Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and a loud voice broke forth in heaven, saying: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our God and of his Anointed One! He will reign supreme for an eternity of eternities!”

Then I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given the authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and for the Word of God. They had refused to worship the wild beast or its image and did not have their foreheads or hands marked by the wild beast. They lived and reigned with the Christ for one thousand years.
