If the righteous are barely saved, what’s in store for all the wicked?

Wisdom pours into you when you begin to hate every form of evil in your life, for that’s what worship and fearing God is all about. Then you will discover that your pompous pride and perverse speech are the very ways of wickedness that I hate!”

Revealed in my ears are the words of the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies: “Until your dying day, certainly I will not forgive this sin.”

Yahweh, the Commander of Angel Armies, has planned it! His plan is to eliminate the pride of your presumed splendor and to humiliate the honored of the world.

In that day, the Lord Yahweh will punish heaven’s host and the kings of the earth.

Therefore, superpower nations will glorify you and the cities of terrorist nations will revere you.

and like the heat of a drought in a desert land; but you subdued the heat under the shade of clouds. You alone silence the song of tyrants.

For the Lord is coming out from his heavenly place to punish people for their sins. The earth itself will expose the blood spilled upon it, and the ground will no longer hide its slain.

For the terrible one will be no more, the scornful jester will not be found, and all the lovers of evil will be cut off.

Then suddenly, in an instant, your ruthless enemies will become nothing more than dust in the wind and your vile tyrants like wind-driven chaff!

But woe to the guilty, for they will get fully what they deserve!

The people will be humiliated, all of humanity humbled, and the arrogant will be brought low.
