When Methuselah was one hundred and eighty-seven, he fathered Lamech.

Enoch’s son was Irad, and Irad’s son was Mehujael, and Mehujael’s son was Methushael, and Methushael’s son was Lamech.

Methuselah lived an additional seven hundred and eighty-two years after Lamech was born and had many other sons and daughters.
