The Passion Translation

When the chief steward heard about the dreams he remembered Joseph and said to Pharaoh, “Please, your dream reminds me today of my failures.

but the chief steward completely forgot about Joseph and never remembered him.

When things start to go well for you, remember me, and please be kind and mention me to Pharaoh so that he might release me from here.

God’s promise to Joseph purged his character until it was time for his dreams to come true.
