“Listen to me, Joseph,” Pharaoh continued. “I am placing you in charge of all of Egypt.”

The warden put all the prisoners under Joseph’s care; he was placed in charge of all the prisoners and everything in the prison.

From the moment Potiphar appointed Joseph over his household, Yahweh blessed the Egyptian’s affairs for Joseph’s sake. The blessing of Yahweh was upon everything Potiphar owned; his finances increased, his crops flourished, and his flocks and herds multiplied.

Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. No one in all of Egypt will lift a finger without your permission!”

Now Joseph was the governor of the land of Egypt, which meant he supervised the sale of grain to all the people. One day, Joseph’s ten brothers came and bowed down before him with their faces on the ground.

So it was God, not you, who sent me here. God has made me a father to Pharaoh, the master of his entire household, and the ruler over all of Egypt.

Then Joseph was put in charge of everything under the king; he became the master of the palace over all the royal possessions.

A wise, intelligent servant will be honored above a shameful son. He’ll even end up having a portion left to him in his master’s will.

If you are uniquely gifted in your work, you will rise and be promoted. You won’t be held back— you’ll stand before kings!

Then the king promoted Daniel and made him great in the kingdom and gave him many wonderful gifts. He also made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and the chief of all the wise men of Babylon.

Now Daniel had an extraordinary spirit and possessed exceptional qualities. He so distinguished himself among all the chief officials and the governors that Darius intended to set him over his entire kingdom.

Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All authority of the universe has been given to me.

God rescued him from all his oppression and granted him extraordinary favor before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Pharaoh appointed him as the overseer of his nation and even of his own palace.
