In three days, Pharaoh will pardon you and restore you to your post. You will once again hand Pharaoh’s cup to him as you used to do as his steward.

And it happened just as he said. Pharaoh restored me to my post, but he had the baker impaled.”

The eye that mocks his father and dishonors his elderly mother deserves to be plucked out by the ravens of the valley and fed to the young vultures!

You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and your coalition with you. I will feed your flesh to every kind of bird of prey and wild animal.

because I’ve taught you everything I could about God’s eternal plan and I’ve held nothing back.

And he hanged the king of Ai on a tree until sunset. Then at sunset, Joshua had the corpse taken down and left it lying in front of where the city gates once stood. They raised a large pile of stones over his corpse, where it remains to this day.
