and Rachel named him Dan, saying, “God has vindicated me. He heard my voice and gave me a son.”

Yahweh, you have seen the wrong done to me; judge in my favor.

God, clear my name. Plead my case against the unjust charges of these ungodly workers of wickedness. Deliver me from these lying degenerates.

You have every right to judge me, Lord, according to your righteousness, but don’t let them rejoice over me when I stumble.

“This is why I will scatter you like dust driven by the desert wind.

So I obeyed Yahweh’s command, and I bought the loincloth and wore it under my tunic.

Dan and his son: Hushim.

The sons of Rachel’s maidservant Bilhah were Dan and Naphtali.

And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son,

Then her servant Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son.
