God also said to Abraham: “Concerning your wife Sarai, you are not to call her Sarai anymore, but Sarah, ‘My Princess,’ will be her name.

Besides, she really is my half sister. She’s my father’s daughter, but not my mother’s, so I married her.

Some time later Abraham heard the news, “You’re an uncle! Milcah and your brother Nahor have eight sons: Uz, their firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, Chesed, Hazo, Phildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel the father of Rebekah.”

So the servant took ten of his master’s camels, loaded them with all sorts of gifts, some of the best things his master owned, and journeyed toward the distant land of Mesopotamia until he got to the village where Abraham’s brother Nahor had lived.

Suddenly, before he had finished praying, there was Rebekah approaching the well with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel and the granddaughter of Milcah and Abraham’s brother Nahor.

She replied, “My father’s name is Bethuel, and my grandparents are Milcah and Nahor.”
