We don’t see any miraculous signs anymore. There’s no longer a prophet among us who can tell us how long this devastation will continue.

Immediately six men advanced from the upper north gate, each one holding a deadly weapon. Also, I saw with them a man clothed in white linen, with a scribe’s case tied to his belt. They came and stood in front of the bronze altar.

I, Daniel, then looked and saw two others standing, one on each bank of the river.

I heard his answer, but it was like a riddle to me. So, I asked him, “Sir, how will all of this transpire?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking. Another holy one asked the first one, the Wonderful Numberer, “How long will it be until this vision is fulfilled, in relation to the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the handing over of the sanctuary, and the trampling underfoot of the host of God’s people?”

Then I heard the voice of someone calling out over the waters of the Ulai canal, “Gabriel, help this man understand the meaning of his vision.”

Later, when they arrived at the Mount of Olives, his disciples came privately to where he was sitting and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what sign should we expect to signal your coming and the completion of this age?”

“Tell us, when will these things happen? And what supernatural sign should we expect to signal your coming and the completion of this age?”

The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church.

God revealed to the prophets that their ministry was not for their own benefit but for yours. And now, you have heard these things from the evangelists who preached the gospel to you through the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—the gospel containing wonderful mysteries that even the angels long to get a glimpse of.

The seven angels with the seven last plagues came out of the sanctuary in glistening robes of bright linen and golden sashes around their chests.

Following him on white horses were the armies of heaven, wearing white fine linen, pure and bright.

They cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Sovereign Lord, holy and dependable, how long before you judge those who live on the earth and vindicate our blood on them?”
