No evil can overwhelm a good person, but the wicked have their hands full of it.


The Fear-of-God expands your life; a wicked life is a puny life.


They settle down in a promising place; Their kids inherit a prosperous farm.


Things calmed down after that and the church had smooth sailing for a while. All over the country—Judea, Samaria, Galilee—the church grew. They were permeated with a deep sense of reverence for God. The Holy Spirit was with them, strengthening them. They prospered wonderfully.


Take your stand with God’s loyal community and live, or chase after phantoms of evil and die.


It’s only human to want to make a buck, but it’s better to be poor than a liar.


The payoff for meekness and Fear-of-God is plenty and honor and a satisfying life.
