Zechariah 5:4

I will send it out, declares the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones."

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more."

The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the dwelling of the righteous.

Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.

"As a thief is shamed when caught, so the house of Israel shall be shamed: they, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets,

there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.

Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and even the fish of the sea are taken away.

"They do not know how to do right," declares the LORD, "those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds."

Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals shall be cleaned out according to what is on one side, and everyone who swears falsely[2] shall be cleaned out according to what is on the other side.

do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the LORD."

"Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the LORD of hosts.

Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field.

And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction[3] like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.

This we will do to them: let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath that we swore to them."
