Yet the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands grows stronger and stronger.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.

The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.

If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth, and if a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.' He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.

Let them alone; they are blind guides.[3] And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit."

And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, "May no fruit ever come from you again!" And the fig tree withered at once.

And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

So he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come."

so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[1]

he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,

while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds[4] each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants[3] will worship him.
