Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;[1] tremble before him, all the earth!

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.[2]

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power,[1] in holy garments;[2] from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.[3]

And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!

His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.

Make your vows to the LORD your God and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared,

Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the LORD that is in Jerusalem,

But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?

The whole assembly worshiped, and the singers sang and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

When the offering was finished, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.

And Hezekiah the king and the officials commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.

The LORD reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!
