Let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry!

I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words.

Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises[1] of Israel.

Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me!

Let the groans of the prisoners come before you; according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die!
