Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.

As for you, O LORD, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!

Have mercy on me,[1] O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God"?

Look down from heaven and see, from your holy and beautiful[5] habitation. Where are your zeal and your might? The stirring of your inner parts and your compassion are held back from me.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
