You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.

The LORD is God, and he has made his light to shine upon us. Bind the festal sacrifice with cords, up to the horns of the altar!

From you comes my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will perform before those who fear him.

I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you.

O you who hears prayer, to you shall all flesh come.

When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.

[2] Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

But if you refrain from vowing, you will not be guilty of sin.

You shall be careful to do what has passed your lips, for you have voluntarily vowed to the LORD your God what you have promised with your mouth.

"If you go into your neighbor's vineyard, you may eat your fill of grapes, as many as you wish, but you shall not put any in your bag.

Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

And as soon as he saw her, he tore his clothes and said, "Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you have become the cause of great trouble to me. For I have opened my mouth to the LORD, and I cannot take back my vow."
