"In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears.

Then the priests and the Levites arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to his holy habitation in heaven.

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD's throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test, the children of man.

In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me.

The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.

But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you.

Fear and trembling come upon me, and horror overwhelms me.

So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.

Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings,[4] peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
