For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me.

"Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the LORD and his people.

the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.

Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.

but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death."
