You have said, "Seek[4] my face." My heart says to you, "Your face, LORD, do I seek."[5]

But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."

Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

He shall cry to me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.'

So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, 'We are unworthy servants;[5] we have only done what was our duty.' "

Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"
