Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

But I discipline my body and keep it under control,[2] lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

When you sit down to eat with a ruler, observe carefully what[1] is before you,

Be not among drunkards[5] or among gluttonous eaters of meat,

So he went and took them and brought them to his mother, and his mother prepared delicious food, such as his father loved.
