Proverbs 16:6

By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one turns away from evil.

Abraham said, "I did it because I thought, There is no fear of God at all in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.

Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other.

But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.

Moses said to the people, "Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin."

One who is wise is cautious[4] and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.

Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him.

The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.

The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body[1] and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?'

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
