The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but he loves him who pursues righteousness.

For the LORD is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.

And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting![4]

The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers.

There is severe discipline for him who forsakes the way; whoever hates reproof will die.

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.

The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.

The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous.

"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the LORD: look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug.

"Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their revilings.

Yet I persistently sent to you all my servants the prophets, saying, 'Oh, do not do this abomination that I hate!'

Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth."

You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and are silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy[1] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that he swore to your fathers to give you.

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
