Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.

Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.

I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view than mine, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,

that the man of God[2] may be competent, equipped for every good work.

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
