Then the people of Israel set out and camped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.

"Take a census of the people,[1] from twenty years old and upward," as the LORD commanded Moses. The people of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt were:

And the people of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
