Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and who came from the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD and confess the God of Israel, but not in truth or right.

Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,

"Bless God in the great congregation, the LORD, O you[4] who are of Israel's fountain!"

You delivered me from strife with the people; you made me the head of the nations; people whom I had not known served me.

And mighty kings have been over Jerusalem, who ruled over the whole province Beyond the River, to whom tribute, custom, and toll were paid.

[1] Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said, "Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction."

And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

[1] Now Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon when he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram always loved David.

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, and advanced him and set his throne above all the officials who were with him.

May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!

And on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
