This shall be yours of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, every grain offering of theirs and every sin offering of theirs and every guilt offering of theirs, which they render to me, shall be most holy to you and to your sons.

At that time Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath and took it. But when Hazael set his face to go up against Jerusalem,

also to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God, the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, as it is written in the Law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks;

Then he said to me, "The north chambers and the south chambers opposite the yard are the holy chambers, where the priests who approach the LORD shall eat the most holy offerings. There they shall put the most holy offerings -- the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, for the place is holy.

They shall eat the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.

"Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is a thing most holy and has been given to you that you may bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

And he shall kill the lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary. For the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.

But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD's food offerings.

but if a priest buys a slave as his property for money, the slave[1] may eat of it, and anyone born in his house may eat of his food.

When the sun goes down he shall be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy things, because they are his food.

"When a leader sins, doing unintentionally any one of all the things that by the commandments of the LORD his God ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt,

"If anyone of the common people sins unintentionally in doing any one of the things that by the LORD's commandments ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt,

"If anyone sins in that he hears a public adjuration to testify, and though he is a witness, whether he has seen or come to know the matter, yet does not speak, he shall bear his iniquity;

he shall bring to the LORD as his compensation[1] for the sin that he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.

It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion of my food offerings. It is a thing most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

But no sin offering shall be eaten from which any blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place; it shall be burned up with fire.

"This is the law of the guilt offering. It is most holy.

Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.

The guilt offering is just like the sin offering; there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.

In a most holy place shall you eat it. Every male may eat it; it is holy to you.

"The Levitical priests, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the LORD's food offerings[1] as their[2] inheritance.
