From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Your kingdom come, your will be done,[2] on earth as it is in heaven.

For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.

And proclaim as you go, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,

Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[1] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,

"Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps[1] and went to meet the bridegroom.[2]

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.[4]

"For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

"Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.[8]

Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.

yet if they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors, saying, 'We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,'

So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

And he said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'

"For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[3] and entrusted to them his property.

He put another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field,

And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.

And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God,

Do you have faith in him that he will return your grain and gather it to your threshing floor?
