And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius.

Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.

And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?

and Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's household manager, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them[1] out of their means.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

You shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), lest he cry against you to the LORD, and you be guilty of sin.

For an overseer,[4] as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain,

so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:
