So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same.
The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour[2] to pray.
About the ninth hour of the day[1] he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, "Cornelius."
Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.[1]
Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.
Jacob's well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.[1]
He said to them, "Come and you will see." So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.[7]
Now from the sixth hour[5] there was darkness over all the land[6] until the ninth hour.[7]
and to them he said, 'You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.'
And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, 'Why do you stand here idle all day?'
