Matthew 2:23

And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled: "He shall be called a Nazarene."

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know --

Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."

So he asked them again, "Whom do you seek?" And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth."

They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I am he."[1] Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

And when they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

"And this is the law for the Nazirite, when the time of his separation has been completed: he shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting,

And she vowed a vow and said, "O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head."

And the crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."
