so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel[4] have I found such faith.

As they were going away, behold, a demon-oppressed man who was mute was brought to him.

And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, "Never was anything like this seen in Israel."

When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell,[8] to the unquenchable fire.[9]

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,

So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, 'Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.'

And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people!"

So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner."
