And Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do for you?" And the blind man said to him, "Rabbi, let me recover my sight."

In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask what I shall give you."

But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers.[3]

And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus.

Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned and said to him in Aramaic,[2] "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).

The tribune took him by the hand, and going aside asked him privately, "What is it that you have to tell me?"

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
