Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed.

He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

saying, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer."

And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him."

And they were all amazed and said to one another, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!"

And Jesus[2] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately the leprosy left him.

And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, "Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof.

For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."

" 'See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

The LORD kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up.
