And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received[3] it, and it will be yours.

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."

And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake."

to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire[3] in his temple.

I opened to my beloved, but my beloved had turned and gone. My soul failed me when he spoke. I sought him, but found him not; I called him, but he gave no answer.

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
