Leviticus 4:4

He shall bring the bull to the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD and lay his hand on the head of the bull and kill the bull before the LORD.

Then the goats for the sin offering were brought to the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands on them,

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its[4] end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the LORD, and the bull shall be killed before the LORD.

And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.

Then he brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

Then the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD to make atonement for the Levites.

For Christ also suffered[2] once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,
