Joshua 1:7

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success[1] wherever you go.

"I am about to go the way of all the earth. Be strong, and show yourself a man,

and keep the charge of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn,

And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the way of David his father, and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

Then you will prosper if you are careful to observe the statutes and the rules that the LORD commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Fear not; do not be dismayed.

But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded."

He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.

And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?"

Restore us, O LORD God of hosts! let your face shine, that we may be saved!

Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the paths of justice,

And he said, "O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage." And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me."

and he laid his hands on him and commissioned him as the LORD directed through Moses.

"You shall therefore keep the whole commandment that I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and take possession of the land that you are going over to possess,

[2] "Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.

and if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

We took their land and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites.

Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper[3] in all that you do.

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it.

You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God that I command you.

You shall be careful therefore to do as the LORD your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant,

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Just as the LORD had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the LORD had commanded Moses.

Therefore, be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, turning aside from it neither to the right hand nor to the left,
