Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?"
So Thomas, called the Twin,[2] said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with him."
And he answered them, "O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me."
"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
And he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;[1]
And you know the way to where I am going."[2]
But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?'
