And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed."

So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.

Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.

and in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your grumbling against the LORD. For what are we, that you grumble against us?"

He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."[3]

And Jesus said to him, "If you can! All things are possible for one who believes."

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

But when Jesus heard it he said, "This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.

Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,[6] are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
