Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?"

Now then, let the fear of the LORD be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the LORD our God, or partiality or taking bribes."

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

know then that God has put me in the wrong and closed his net about me.

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit do we get if we pray to him?'

Let their own eyes see their destruction, and let them drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

For Job has said, 'I am in the right, and God has taken away my right;

Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.

Who has prescribed for him his way, or who can say, 'You have done wrong'?

I will get my knowledge from afar and ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

The Almighty -- we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.

'Can mortal man be in the right before[2] God? Can a man be pure before his Maker?

"Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."

Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be in the right?

"Truly I know that it is so: But how can a man be in the right before God?

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.

The King in his might loves justice.[1] You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

"Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?

"Yet your people say, 'The way of the Lord is not just,' when it is their own way that is not just.

Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."

Therefore the LORD has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice.

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

"The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant[1] of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations![2]

And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!"
