Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. "Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged.

Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;

I did not sit in the company of revelers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone, because your hand was upon me, for you had filled me with indignation.

You have rejected me, declares the LORD; you keep going backward, so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you -- I am weary of relenting.
