Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.

So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, "You are a God of seeing,"[4] for she said, "Truly here I have seen him who looks after me."[5]

"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to make offerings before him?

"But will God indeed dwell with man on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this house that I have built!

"For his eyes are on the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.

There is no gloom or deep darkness where evildoers may hide themselves.

He says in his heart, "God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it."

Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.

You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Ah, you who hide deep from the LORD your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, "Who sees us? Who knows us?"

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Thus says the LORD: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?

For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes.

great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of man, rewarding each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.

But I have stripped Esau bare; I have uncovered his hiding places, and he is not able to conceal himself. His children are destroyed, and his brothers, and his neighbors; and he is no more.

Then he said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say, 'The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.' "

Then he said to me, "The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, 'The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see.'

he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, "What have you done?"

which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
